Got a hold of the Fiat article number now as well, it's 46000978.

SO what is it? Apparently it's a leather case for your radio front and it was supposted to be a Fiat original accessory.

Does anyone know how or here to get a hold of one? Anyone has one or have seen it before (except the one one Ebay ...since long gone)?

Saw one at the dealer I bought my original Coupe from in 2000. Was in the accessories brochure.

A decent independent textile/furnisgings manufacturer should be able to knock something like that up. Although it won't be geniune FIAT, it will look exactly the same.

I think you'll be hard pressed to get one, unless a Fiat dealer has one on the shelf hiding somewhere in their stock.

I was lucky enough to get one when a forum member sold me their head unit (can't remember who, sorry) and they gave me the case with it

I've just spoken to my local Fiat dealer (parts man is quite good).
He said if they were still available, they retail at £14.09 + vat.
He's just done a search for me and there are none in this country or in Italy.
They have a critical star rating and the case is down as critical, with no stars

With hindsight, I phoned them about it last week when I first realised it was missing and they said it wasn't there. I then called into the store in person and there it was.

Lesson learned.

BTW, for those people looking for one of these, aftermarket "fronts" will fit in it easily.
