Will a decat damage standard 20VT turbo?
I ve heard somthing about damaging turbo seals becouse of backpresure or .......

I was thinking to remove everything after downpipe and to put 2,5" pipe and a high flow rear muffler?

Any suggestions?

Yes you're right, it will damage the seals due to a lack of back pressure, do a search on decat and you will find lots about it. Depending on the condition of the turbo will depend on how quick the seals let go. But it will evantually.

You could try a sports cat, check out the blueflame group buy, or go decat and a new turbo from the GT series.

Also a decat is illegal in the UK, is it in Bosnia?

And do you think that Gtec1 would be enough to go low 14sec on 402m???
My best track time with everything stock was 14.3sec (without reaction)

if the decat eats your turbo seals , can you just replace them? i thought of decating and if it starts to smoke ill take the turbo off and fix it , it will cost less than spending about 500pund or more for a gt turbo

having a stagger gap oil seal on the turbine shafts eliminates the need for back pressure so you can run decatted
