The bit where the interior light sits, which is one piece of plastic that runs from left to right at the top of the windscreen, has anyone ever removed it, how much room is there behind the light?

I am looking for somewhere to put my greddy boost controller, which is only about 70 x 20 x 60 and I reckon it might fit into the area where the light is, depending on how much gubbins there is already up there also the trim will need removing to run all the tubes and wires, how easy is this?

If not there, where else can I put my greddy, I don't fancy the ashtray, nor do i fancy down by knees. I wondered about maybe taken out the right hand air vent (where Neils widget goes) and putting it in there.

Any other places that I could think of

It is easy to undo Jim. It just unclips. There is some room but the buld in that light takes up a lot of space. I doubt it but worth a try.

Could the unit not sit behind the Rear veiw mirror under the clip that is there? That is where i have my bluetooth sat nav box.

Maybe under the sunvisor, I am kind of "warming" to the air vent idea, especially as I now know how to remove the side trim

I would just need to get one of Neils plates without a cut out for his widget and then cut the right size for my greddy, hhhmmmm, I like the sound of that

That side vent doesn't seem to let any air through anyway, so I doubt it'd be missed. Think I'm gonna put mine there if it looks to be the right size

Jim

Have a look at tghis photo. You could get a similar bracket made and mount it where marc has ho gauges ust below the headlight height switch.

Yeah i saw that John thanks, its another option, thats where Suba has stuck his I believe, you don't even need a bracket for it to go there just some sticky pads will do it.
