Gain on 15 worked well for me, then tweak the set until you get the desired boost. Could well be different on every car though, but Gain 15 / Set 50 is a good starting point, to start playing around with.

PLEASE bear in mind that every car is different, but these are the settings I used when I ran more modest boost (on a GT28R)

Channel 1 - 0.8 bar, gain = 10 (nice and gentle, great for fuel consumption)
Channel 2 - 1.0 bar, gain = 12 (still gentle, but allowed me to beat almost anything else on the road)
Channel 3 - 1.3 bar, gain = 20 ("point & squirt" mode - lots of boost, coming in very quickly - max torque)
Channel 4 - 1.4 bar, gain = 10 (Max boost for max power, but gain reduced to prevent spiking)

A smaller turbo would need even lower gain settings - maybe even into single figures

Don't forget to set the boost limit - great safety aid - I often get spikes into 1.8 bar on my current setup - without the limiter, I'd probably exceed 2 bar

thanks mattw and nigel im currently running t28 360 deg with stagger gap oil seals,de-cat,k/n panel and miltek fitting gtech 1 this weekend after i replace my clutch slave \:mad\: so running just under 1 bar and pull's 1 bar all the way
has anyone tried the scramble mode? i was going to set this about 0.9 for a sec or two then switch to 1.2 bar with the gtech fitted to aid traction

you shouldn't need scramble mode in anything other than 1st gear, and IIRC, it applies the scramble setting EVERY time you come on boost (so you'd get two seconds of 0.9 bar in every gear)

Set your car up right and you should get any traction issues after 1st gear - I can put down 400bhp in 2nd & 3rd without wheelspin, even in the wet (unless the road is particularly slick)

yes your right nigel good point i'll abandon that idea then
but when you select the scramble and i was under the impression it worked once then reverted back to the channel selected??
or what would be the point??

The "scramble mode" on the Blitz is not very useful IMHO. There are other EBC with better and more configurable ones.

The way is works is when boost starts it will select an alternative channel for a period of time (in seconds).

So if your normal everyday setting is CH1 (0.8bar) it will apply (for example) CH3 (1.3bar) for X secs, everytime your car comes on boost!

You can set it the other way round too, so if everyday you drive on CH3 (1.3bar) it will scramble select CH1 (0.8bar) for X secs. A bit of a pain if you want a quick and effective getaway!
