Hi,

I just want to know if those of you who have fitted a Evo fmic had ALL the brackets/bits that would have been used to secure it to an Evo cut off before fitting it to the coupe?

Cheers
John

Anyone able to comment on this plse, I'm fitting it the Barbz way i.e. cutting one of the nozzles and re-attaching it to face the car. I just need to know if all the other attachments around the intercooler need to be cut of, you can see from these pictures the bits I mean pics

Also can anyone with a Torque Italia fitted evo fmic comment on how theirs is held in place.

Cheers
John

Cut off the top mounting bracket if it's in the way, depends on the which type it is. You don't have to cut any of the nozzles to fit although again depending on model you can cut i.e. shorten the outlet side, to make things neater. As for mounting, a few metal cable ties on either end and at the top if the mounting is still in place. You can use double plastic cable ties too, it's under very little load so as long as it's in place and supported no problems \:\)

Cheers for that mate, I was just a bit unsure if any of the brackets could be used to support it.
I will have to cut one of the nozzles as i've bought all the samco hoses and metal piping i need to fit it that way, this thing has been sitting on a cupboard for nearly 2yrs waiting to be fitted but in a way im glad as it would have been wiped out along with the old coupe if I fitted it earlier! ;\) All I need to do now is find somewhere that welds alloy to re-attch the nozzle to face the car, thanks again for helping.

Cheers
John
