Anyone done this to a 20vt and is it safe to do or will it kill the engine, i am buying highwaymans coupe and was wondering will it take a nos kit with out going bang.

It has been done previously and it will probably make your engine go bang too.... do a search, although it may be on the old "lost" forum.

Having seen Phils coop though, I would think it is plenty fast enough and if you do want more power, I would think there are better ways of doing it!

Why do you need more anyway? Phil's coupe is set up with a power delivery that makes it incredibly quick in real world terms. Quick spool up, holds the power well etc etc....

Do a Google search for Wizards of Nos, they have the best kits, a forum and even a book they wrote.

Don't believe the 'It will blow your engine' brigade, if properly fitted it doesn't, I know I've been running it for years.

/\ bad reputation, in part caused by 'the fast and the furious' IMO.

as soon as that film came out every chav in the world strapped a 500bhp kit to their saxo, rs turbo etc and that was that.

as 'grale said if done properly it'd work ok, though personally, with the car you have i wouldn't bother,
