My original clarion CD changer keeps ejecting the cartridge out of the unit for no apparent reason. After about 2 secs of pushing it back in, it comes straight back out regardless of whether there's a cd in or not.

This has only just started to happen and i'm wondering if anyone knows of a cure or is it buggered?

Thanks.

If it ends up buggered (love these technical terms smile ) then I have one available in the Haggling Section. smile

Or a jammed CD. Eject all the CD's and make sure the levers move easily smile

Sorted it smile

Some numpty had set the position key on the side of the unit to the `vertical` position instead of the `horizontal` one.

It now works as intended and doesn't self eject smile

i can eject the magazine without problem and there is no disc/s jammed in there confused
i've tested the mechanism manually by spinning the gears and all seems as it should i.e mechanism travels through its full cycle.
error code from clarion u.s.a says error code 2 mechanism has eject problem or takes a long time to select cd confused

any more advice welcomed smile

Yes. Get rid of the outdated shite Clarion and get a proper stereo. Any Alpine will be tons better.
