Hi, just to make everyone aware i purchased a strut brace nearly 4 weeks ago from thic company on ebay, the next day i got an email saying it was on backoeder from italy & it could take upto 4 weeks! i have now sent six emails to him asking for an update with no reply & am about to inform ebay, ive looked at his negative feedback and it seems he has done this to alot of people & then blames anyone but himself, BE AWARE!

Dont agree bud.

Shouldnt be selling something thats not in stock. Also, if he wants to do this, should be part of the advert that can take x amount of weeks...

Yeah emailed him AFTER he's already paid for it. It should be on the ebay advert. Bad business practise i believe.

Not much help I'm afraid but you should have read their Terms and Conditions before agreeing to purchase.

After reading section 10 it appears that you would have reason to cancel if the order is expected to take longer than 30 days.

You should also be, or have been, able to cancel within 7 days, in line with the distance selling regulations.

First time I've heard about a problem with this guy too and Cowboy has sent loads of business his way.

Bit unfair if you're in a rush though.

Out of interest, how much did you pay for the brace?

I've been looking for a strut-brace for the 20vt, but the ones I've seen are only for the 16vt. Can you guys confirm that the 16vt strut brace will fit a 20vt? And is the one from strutbracer the same as the one sold at demont-weeks?

Cheers

I was in the process of setting up a group buy with these people last year and ordered a set of braces to test out, their customer service and delivery times were so poor I gave up, they actually got quite abusive in emails when I told them I was going elsewhere.

They do sell a lot of braces but be prepared for a long wait.
