I've had an idle issue for ages, finally solved it today by taking out the dv, a forge dv006.
Should the dv006 be hissing at idle? I wouldn't have thought so?
It has a green spring, so does this mean I need the next spring up in stiffness - yellow? I have taken it apart and it is cleaned and lightly oiled but no difference. I'm pretty sure there is nothing stopping the diaphragm from sealing but would the idle vacuum be enough to open the dv slightly?!

I didn't see an O ring inside, just a rubber diaphragm that seals to the casing. What color springs are other dv006 people running?

Ah by o ring they mean the entire black rubber diaphragm. I've pm'd david about the kit, cheers for spotting that

Thanks, I've dropped them a line. Could it also be possible that the green spring has gone lazy?!

I've actually realised it's not a dv006, it's the atmospheric dv001!
I have a new diaphragm on the way and the spring kit so I can try different strengths to see what the problem actually is.
I do find that it dumps at almost anything above idle as it is, I'm sure something isn't right.
