hi, i have heard people mention HID's on the site are they the headlamp bulbs that are 50% brighter than standard or something different, please advise.

Very different

They use a different bulb with various bits and bobs to replicate the xenon type lights used by some manufacturers as standard equipment.

They produce a far superior light output to any halogen bulb on the market.

Jap on the forum can supply you with a kit at very reasonable prices and the last I heard he was investigating an even more powerful version, discussed here: click

If you look in the "How-To" section you'll see fitting guides which show all the components and what is required to fit them. Certainly a very worthwhile upgrade on the coupé
