Well big thanks to pete.

Although I paid them over the phone, they still managed to get the amount wrong. So i phoned them to ask them to correct and after a quick maths lesson they said they would refund the whole amount and ask for another authorisation. Fecked that up aswell leaving pete to arrive with the mount there, but no payment made.:mad:

Anyways, all sorted now thanks to pete.

The drivers side lower mount. Its on back order and this one garage had the last one in the uk. I really need it so needed someone to collect.

Just to explain to everyone what a star pete is. (and for anyone thinking of using Bishops for ANYTHING)

Local Fiat dealer explained that part number 46464666 is out of stock and on back order. However there was stock of one unit in Bishops, the only one available in the UK.

Phoned bishops and they confirmed they had one and they had it in storage for over a year, due to non collection. Offered me a 20% discount (well i asked ) and agreed a price of £69.87. Gave my card details for pete to collect.

Went and checked my account and saw that they were authorizing a payment of £82.07. Phoned them back and explained that it was only supposed to be £69.87. After some "discussion" they noticed they had applied Vat on top of the total price including vat, so vat twice. They said the best thing to do was to issue a refund of the original amount and re-charge it. I agreed, but only if they issued the refund as a credit authorization so that the amount didnt debit and meant the 2nd payment would go through. Did they? No.

They actioned a 3-5 working day refund then tried to take another £69.87 from my account. So in total over £150. The 2nd one was declined. So when pete arrived there was no payment on their system, although there refund hadnt been actioned yet.

Pete, the Gent of a Man that he is, paid it for me and arranged delivery this morning. Legend!!

I have arranged for the parts manager to contact myself first thing monday morning to explain and correct this fiasco, so i look forward to some additional discounts.

Update : Fair play to Bishops. They have refunded the money as promised. Dont know how But they have done it.
