Hi,
I have the "Jap" fuel pump wiring mod and I've run the power cable up the passenger side. I am fitting my old amp, which is to be plumbed into the standard rears and I've run the phonos down the drivers side.
What I'd like to know is will there be any problems running the much thicker amp power cable next to the power cable for the fuel pump? Has anybody else run the fuel pump wire and an amp wire up the same side of the car?
Any help appreciated, as I can live without the amp if it'll interfere?
Cheers,
Gunzi

no problem, just dont snag the wire on the cars body or your gound the amp wire "12v +" and blow a fuse from the start of the amp wire, at the battery "12v +" end.
if you havent fused it from source yet- do it, if the wire grounds it will go like a electric wire heater and set fire to the car.

fwiw, I'm running the fuel pump via a 40amp relay from the thick wire that feeds the rear amp I know it's not ideal, but it works I do have some rev related whining from the speakers but I did have that before the fuel wiring mod as well... V.
