hello, i previously owned a 2.2 vectra CD before getting my coupe a few months ago. I owned my vectra for over 7 years and loved it. gave it a complete facelift , with genuine gsi bumper, genuine irmscher spoiler, 18"alloys, angel eyes head lamp, complete stainless steel exhaust, dbilas turbo kit ( sorry for going on about my veccy ! )

the point is, there is a mini roundabout by where I live, in my vectra, i could do a turn around with ease....but I cant with my coupe...

is it only me or does the coupe actually take more space to turn around, pull out of parking...etc...

It's not you, they all have a large turning circle.

16VT and X1/9 1500

We must all do our part for the planet.
I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using.

ok, thats cleared now. I thought it was me !
also, i am getting used to parking it. The distance , the various mirrors portray are very confusing ...

i love the coupe though...

when i had my modded veccy, i use to have a lot of cars up my a**e trying to nudge me etc...with my coupe no one dares to!!!

Yeah it can get kinda embarrassing doing a 3 point turn to get round a corner in a multi-story \:\(

I actually quite like it having a crap turning circle. I'm sure Ferrari's and other super cars as the same . Sort of emphasises that your not driving a normal car when you need to do a three point turn to go around a tight corner.

Yup, I like to think they are getting something interesting to look at when you're making a meal out of a mini roundabout

Wait until you go to a meet and watch them all trying to park. Brakes squealing as they get within a mile, it's all part of the deal with a coop \:D

I wonder if it is as bad as a Nobles M12s' turning circle? I saw that old Topgear review when they compared the M12 with the Vectra the other day.

F****** b****** thing...

I thought the Coupe had a bad turning circle but I replaced it with a Volvo S60 T5 which has a very similar turning circle. I was looking forward to easily sneaking into tight spaces and not having the dread of a mini roundabout ahead but I still get the same fear

Mrs Mona had her first spin in the Coupe last year - did a few tunnel runs before she has to navigate around a mini-roundabout in town - I advised her to adjust her speed as it wouldn't go round in one go - she didn't believe me until she was forced to do a three point turn to get round it!

The oil tanker turning circle coupled with the squeeky breaks give the car character, character flaws that is :P.

Hmm!

Another (rare) occasion where the non-turbo is better \:\)

Are the 16V turbo cars as bad as the 20V turbos?

1997 20V
2000 V6 manual S-Type and 2011 5.0 XKR
2016 Tucson 1.6T AWD
