Called my local (well local to work) Fiat garage to order this part as AA do not have stock and wanted a brand new one. Was told to expect an 8 week delay as the part is hard to come-by Phoned at 5pm on Monday to order and pay, and was advised that I would get a call on Wednesday regarding stock etc. Wednesday morning and get a call at 9am to say my hose is ready for collection What service! So my advice is not to dismiss Fiat out of hand, like any large company with a dealer network there will be good and bad. In the case of Thames Fiat in Slough their parts desk have repeatedly been very quick and excellent with communication.

Mill Lane in Aldershot are also pretty good for parts, they're quite happy to take part numbers you've looked up yourself, but seem quite good on ePer themselves, I've even got them to leave parts in the showroom (separate building down the road) for when the parts place is closed (free FIAT carrier bag included )

Fiat parts desk up here are always good. They managed to get me the other coolant hose of death (the one that feeds the turbo from the water rail) the next morning despite the same warning.

Ahh, that coolant hose of death that left me stranded on the M25 by the Dartford tunnel ! About £8 worth from the Fiat garage! Dave
