Is there any way you can find out the spec of your car when it left the factory? I seen in another post that the 20vt 6's came with colour coded sills and bumpers and other cars that didn't come with skirts had black sills (I don't know the truth in this). I'd just be interested to see how my car originally left the production line.

I always thought it was the 16v coupes that had the black sills, and that all 20v models regardless of spec had colour coded sills.
Would be good to know the truth on this...

That is true with darker coloured wheels, the black sills do suite it more.
However, from a marketing view its interesting as to why Fiat left or painted the sills black.

I thought they had black sills to protect it a bit better from dirt and crap flicking up off the road?
I much prefer the colour coded look though, it makes the bodywork hug the wheels more tightly, and makes the car look lower.

See... Mine is all colour coded, but has cloth seats. It's also a 5 speed...
I'd just be interested to know if that's how it came out of the factory.

It has, but I'm keeping it nice haha!
It's going to DP Motorsport for a cambelt change in a couple of weeks, but I still don't want to drive it. Ha ha!

I'd just be interested to know if that's how it came out of the factory. All my local fiat dealer had to do to obtain the full factory spec for my coupe (coop is soo american)was to type in my cars reg. Obviously all the details are in Italian but I'm sure you can work with that.
