As the title says pretty much, had my coop for getting on 2 years now spec so far is:
Gtech Chip
Prv (set at 1.2bar for RR)
Ragazzon Exhaust System
Power boost valve
K&N Induction Kit
Forge DV006 Dump Valve
Last time i was on the RR i produced 271bhp @ 5830rpm with 268 lbf.ft. I use my local RR
http://www.hitechmotorsport.co.uk/ so no idea how accurate they maybe.
Anyway ive been wanting to break that 300bhp mark and then i would satisfied. From what ive seen reading the forum i would need and Uprated turbo, Pro Alloy FMIC & possibly a EBC (Greddy/blitz e.t.c)
Ive been in touch with Turbo Dynamics as they seem to have a good rep on the forum and they say they can upgrade my standard turbo to three different specs
Brief Specifications: -
MD370 High flow T28 - 55 Trim Compressor wheel, C.N.C. re-profiled compressor housing, modified bearing housing, 360 degree thrust bearing, left hand thread shaft & wheel assembly fitted with “staggered gap” total seal piston ring, cutback turbine blades Uprated actuator – optional. Recommended maximum boost level is 18-20 P.S.I. Approx 280-300bhp
MD238 High flow T28 - 60 Trim Compressor wheel, C.N.C. re-profiled compressor housing, modified bearing housing, 360 degree thrust bearing, left hand thread shaft & wheel assembly fitted with “staggered gap” total seal piston ring. Uprated actuator – optional. Recommended maximum boost level is 20-22 P.S.I. Approx 300-320 bhp
MD347 High flow GT32 - 48 Trim Compressor wheel, C.N.C. re-profiled compressor housing, modified bearing housing, 360 degree thrust bearing, left hand thread shaft & wheel assembly fitted with “staggered gap” total seal piston ring, cutback turbine blades Uprated actuator – optional. Recommended maximum boost level is 22-24 P.S.I. Approx 330-350 bhp
I was looking at upgrading to the MD238 Spec. As im not technically minded was wondering if the upgrades sound right.
Anyway so could i expect to see 300bhp with the MD238 spec turbo, FMIC & EBC? Ofcourse taking into account handling and brakes.
Any advice appreciated, thanks for reading
