The later coupes, like mine, have a battery voltage gauge instead of oil temperature. I've seen a few temperature gauges and ones that come with senders too, but not sure how or where they would fit on the coop.

Anyone else fitted one?

I thought this one might be suitable: http://store.street-racers.co.uk/p1830039.htm

I had one fitted to mine about 12 months ago.

Paul at Motormech was trusted with the installation which involved drilling the sump to fit the sender unit. Then it's a case of running the wiring through to the gauge and sorting power supply. Now I've seen how it's done it's do-able by most people - except for the sump drilling. \:o

As far as gauges are concerned, I'm old skool with the "you get what you pay for" viewpoint. \:\)

Thanks. Sounds like a job I'd get Paul to do too. What type of gauge have you got fitted then?

@ MABR

What temperature are you getting on normal driving? What about pushing it hard?

I replaced my sump plug for one with a 1/8 BSP threaded centre to accept a sender. I didn't fancy taking the chance of getting swarf in the oil \:o
