The clue with mission to mars is that you have two options:
Attach the pink thing to the end of a long arm so it goes through the pink square as the arm falls.
Or
Dont attach the pink thing to anything and build a contraption that can thwack it over the other side!

it's difficult to suggest without telling you exactly what to do.... if you get the wheels turning in the right direction and right up against the side walls the platform will rise

I found zooming in so you could place the wheels precisely helped with the tube level.

The Mars one was pretty easy, took me 2 attempts. The tube one though I think I was trying to be too clever, ended up using only 2 drive wheels and a couple of sticks.

Im within mins of completing it now, i just wish id had more of a precision click when deleting stuff as the main crux of what i did was based on angles.....the main one ive just deleted!!!

I've decided that simple engineering elegance is a crock. The more complicated the better :). I am particularly proud of this effort. And they tell me I have the soul of Archimedes.
