Sorry if this is a really dumb question but is the 2.0 20v engine a twin cam as well like the 16v? It isnt written on the engine like the 16v but there is a definite noticeable change in engine note, performance once the revs have past a certain rpm or is this just because the engine has now reached its peak bhp/torque levels? Thanks!

all the Coupe engines are twin cam

the difference you can hear is possibly the cam variator kicking in - it alters the angles of the inlet cam after about 4.500rpm

Cheers for that nigel :o) I thought it might be as my first coop was a broom yellow 16v na but had twin cam written on the engine, but my new 20v na hasnt but performs in a similar way, just sounds and goes better :o) thanks mate
