Over on piston head's. Looks nice enough and very reasonably priced i thought. Maybe worth a punt if you think coupe prices may increase in the next few years!

Only thing is it'r on the original cambelt!! Only 8 years old.

Is that 1 mile to work through a traffic jam each morning and parked on the street all weather or a good blast around the lanes every weekend in the summer months and garaged the rest of year?

It's a big difference.

Its the sentence about it being a Cat C that leapt out at me, rather than the cambelt or the low mileage wink

Well spotted Ed, I'd only read the email that was sent to me via Pistonheads, they must shorten the adverts they send via email!

Thats quite worrying, especially when it happened when the car was only 2 years old, must have been some fairly decent damage!

Ben

Ps - Slightly overpriced then? Especially as its a CAT C?!

Cat C has nothing to do with the amount of damage just the cost V the value, ie a car can be Cat C just because it has the windows smashed. thumb

I would worry about the engine as it is bound to have had hundreds of cold starts.

The Cat C would also put me right off. By the time it has got a few more miles under it's wheels it will have depreciated massively.

Buy a good car with a high mileager mileage and then get a new engine fitted. Job done, probably works out a lot cheaper as well.

Low mileage is bad for an engine/car.

It looks reasonable on the photo's but the drivers seat bolster look like it has done more than 18,000 miles, and the boot lid either isn't fitting correctly or it isn't shut.

I agree with the comments above ref being clocked.
