Some of you maybe aware of the long running saga with my 20v VIS, I know Countrycrusing (Joe) is!!
Anyway to get to the point, after 9 months without a coop I'm back. All of this is due to the fabulous work done by Paul (Iceberg) at Motormech.
I can't thank Paul and his team enough, great service, great patience (in waiting until a new engine came available) and great results. My coop now runs just like it did on the day I bought it (5 years ago).
BIG THANKS TO MOTORMECH (sorry to the mods for the CAPS but I'm just so chuffed to have it back!!)

Ah - so it was your 20v that seemed to have rooted itself to the spot in Paul's workshop

Good to hear that a new lump came up eventually - welcome back! \:D

It was initially a blown head gasket problem, the engine was rebuilt but the rings were fried so it had major hot running problems \:\(

The problem intially was a head gasket failure, this problem then became something else which is subject to legal proceedings and so I won't make any further comment on it at this time.
The solution was to have a "new" engine fitted by Paul at Motormech

I'll say no more, I didn't realise there was legal proceeding going on otherwise I wouldn't of said anything. \:\(

No worries Joe, I'll post a proper explanation of the problem once the court stuff is out of the way.
