From reading the text around it the poster isnt exactly gushing with praise for these bins. Looks more like he thinks they are so crap he's giving them out to kill the sales.

If you are looking to read the maps within the files then try http://www.prograle.org not straight forward though....

That must be the gang who created the 4-way switchable chip with the upgraded prograle maps, the maps which are actually the same old evocars maps with modified boost. Or was that you Paul?

Seriously, i have never seen a more corrupt community than the integrale one!

Anyway, i don't think you will get much answers from them except some vague hints and tips.

You need to install the tunerpro software and you need an XDF-file to decode or 'read' the bin files.

There is one here http://www.prograle.org/download/ under contribs/Erik. I provided the file to Erik way back. It has somme errors in it but you will be able to read the bin file for the coupé.

You need to buy an eprom programmer which can programm 27CXXX eproms and a couple of eproms (27C256) for the coupé.

Load the bin file in the software and write it in the chip and you have an evocars.

The question you ask yourself is, why would you ever want to ruin your engine on an evocars?

The Evocars bin is not the original one - attention guys!
I have compared the Evocars for Fiat Coupe bin from the site and the ORIGINAL EVOCARS chip that i have and a lot of maps are changed.

Verry strange isn't it, considering the fact i bought that evocars off you \:D

Ok i have to agree, i fixed that checksum since it was wrong and the injector light stayed on. ;\)

You have me confused, are you telling me you sold me a non original evocars back then or are you telling me that you modified your 'original evocars' since and now the one on my site is not the 'original evocars' any more but your modified one is? Lol In that case i should ask you for a refund since you sold me a non original evocars...

Sorry to piss in your breakfast Paulinho but i have nothing personal against you. I got this evochip off you and a have another one from a second source as well which is identical but if you improved your evo chip then you should rebrand it.

I'm sorry to disagree with you but i also bought an evocars chip from paulinho and just checked the maps and here they are...

Pal, sorry to say ... but you have been ripped off \:P
You have to try a little harder to have the original file \:D \:D \:D \:D
All this time and you haven´t the original Evocars file?!?!?!
looolllloooolll

Better remove that file or you can blow someones motor,
I promise you that the next time i send you the right chip!
Another one that i am laughting about is that you say that Evocars chip is the same chip as the Lancia Delta original \:D

Ok 85 euros for the ORIGINAL chip or do you want a discount?

I though 16VT is 512 not 256?
Anyway here is my compare, the files are different:

http://img366.imageshack.us/my.php?image=comparehg9.jpg

I wouldn’t trust any of the uploaded bin files above if you favour your engine unless you know for certain what you are doing.

Hi Paulinho,

Thanks for your reply, you are the man i wanted to get at and you have been playing the game nicely i must say.

It looks like we are getting to the bottom of this.

I want all people on this forum to know you are an imposter paulinho and i will explain why:

1 - Above you are admitting you deliberatly sent the wrong chip which made the engine run bad when clearly i was thinking of getting an an original evocars from you.

2 - You actually take pride and joy in the fact you ripped me off.

3 - You actually did the same thing with several other forum members. God knows how many. Even if you have the real evo chip you deliberately sent the wrong chips to people who were actually paying to get the real deal.

4 - I have the original evocars you nugget! I put yours on-line to provoke you. Looks like you took the bait. I analysed your chip and compared it to the real one and the fuel enrichment table are modified to make it overfuel massively. It is highly possible the engine will experience bore wash and it will kill your engine in the long run.

We found out pretty fast you sent us a turd in a box but god knows how many other people are still running your chips.
They believed in you because you provided them the 'evocars' real deal but you fooled them, only going for the money and not caring about the fact the chip would ruin the engine in the long run.

You have been deceiving everybody and even if this thread dissapears this whole story will be published on-line.

YOU ARE A LIAR AND A THIEF PAULINHO! \:s

Sorry to say guys you have all been ripped off!

p.s. Do not think i'm doing this for the money. All people can send their 'evocars' chips to me to swap them for the real deal. For free

I have brought 2 chips off Paulhino over the years, one was the first version and the second was the cold start corrected - which wasn't

Going on the info above I can only assume they are both 15 year old Integrale 16v stock chips - Nigel/Dink please keep us posted as I have no way to read the chips.

Update - new information has come to light, so I've now suspended both Paulinho AND Dink and confined them to a single, private area of the forum.

They can discuss their misunderstanding in private and can sort out a conclusion/resolution. They will be let out when (if) they can sort their differences.

Just tell us the checksum as that will clear up who has the real file without publically releasing it.

Not quite enough TurboJ,

there are three variations .03, .04 and .05 of the evocars for the P8 ecu the coupe is using. Checksums for them are different.
What needs to be checked are 4-5main tables addressing fueling, advance, overboost, etc

Yeah several fundamental errors unfortunately. The load and rpm breakpoints are all wrong. Also, the rpm limiters don't work. I'm making my own version at the moment. I'll make it freely available if/when I get it decent.

BTW. The Alfa Q4 bin works on the 16VT. And the Q4 definition file (xdf) works perfectly. I have a non-immobiliser bin, which means with it loaded on my Coupe ECU the immobliser is cancelled and the CODE light stays on. Apparrently there's a immobiliser version around but I don't know where.
