Can anyone clear something up for me? I currently have two cars, the Coupe and a Peugeot 306. I currently use my 3 years NCB on the Fiat, which is due to be renewed next February. I purchased the Peugeot in December and the insurance is now up for renewal end of next month (Yes I was being tight at the and went for the 10 month policy ) Anyhow, it now seems I have 2 NCB's, one year on the Peugeot and 3 on the Fiat. Am I doing anything wrong here? Am I able to accumulate two different NCB's on two different cars? Anyone know of any insurers where you can use a NCB on different policies? Thanks All Ben

Yes, absolutely fine. I have my full NCB on the coupe and an accumulated year on the punto. What you cannot do is add them together to get one larger NCB

Strongly recommend you look into a multi-car policy from Admiral. Price up online and then confirm by phone. You'll pay for the Pug cover now and then a pro-rata'd amount for the coop from Feb - September. Then you'll take out new policies for both cars in September 2009. The only issue may be if the coupe is heavily modded (and Admiral won't cover) or you sell one car in the meantime as you lose the benefit of the multi-car discount

Thanks for all the replies people. The Fiat is standard bar a DV006 Dump Valve. Last time I put this down on a Admiral Multi Car, they wouldn't quote me (Well they would but I had to ring ) I suppose I best pull my finger out and do some shopping around. I'll have a look at Swift tomorrow. BTW I managed to get a quote of £380 for a year TPFT including commuting to work on the Peugeot. Not too bad I suppose, although I am 25 and I think the peugeot is something like Group 5 insurance Add that to £450 for the Coupe, and I'm paying £830 a year for the 2 cars! I'll see what Admiral Multicar can come up with Cheers Ben

Another vote for Admiral from me (again). I have the Monaro, the Coupe and MrsC's Polo all on there for £900-ish, and that includes 2 accidents, 1 vehicle theft and an SP30 for me, which isn't the greatest opening line! Bear in mind the insurance groups of the Ro and the Coupe....
Definitely call them though - mine talked itself down by some £200 for the sake of 10 not-high-pressure-selling minutes on the phone.

I have coupe & wife has Corsa. I got internet multicar quote from Admiral who make it easy when renewal dates are different. We're retired with good NCB and only 1 SP30. Admiral came up with £266 for the coop [XS £300] and £203 for the Corsa. However, I find MORE>THAN far better at £164 for me and £165 for the Corsa. Also MORETHAN do great breakdown insurance [homestart/UK/Europe] for only £41 and other good add-ons. So I'm taking out new policy with them and for wife in Feb. Note: the renewal quote from MORETHAN was considerably more expensive but when I got a new quote and phoned them [0800 to India], the adviser happily gave me the better deal. So it pays to refrsh your quote each year even though this is a bit tedious.
