As above - is there a way to lower the cooling fans cut in point by a few degrees? I run a FMIC with AC as well so I think by getting the cooling fans to cut in a few degrees earlier it may help things a bit. Is this controlled by the ECU? Thanks

Yup, its controlled by the ECU. Why would making it cut in earlier help in anyway, it comes on at a set temperature so by fitting a FMIC probably just means it reaches that temp quicker.
Getting up to temperature quicker is only a good thing when it comes to engines smile

Am I wright to say it cuts in at 95?

Don't have problems with it overheating per say, but i think with the FMIC, sitting in traffic it seems to take longer for the fans to cool things down, and I know the oil cooler doesn't do too much while your stationary either.

My car heats quickly to normal temps and is fine in the move, I was just looking to keep the temparatures under the bonnet a bit better whilst stuck in traffic.

Why not use Suba's how to guide on fitting a switch to control the fans manually
