I've decided to collect some RR results from people running stage 2 and 3 coops. I'd like people with coupes running the folliwng mods (or similar) to post up their dynos if possible (failing that then just a brief description of when boost and torque arrives and the peak numbers).

Required mods
My definition of stage 2/3 means the following

Interccoler
Front mounts only, I don't want data for SMIC, standard or aftermarket.

Turbo
Standard T28, Hybrid T28, T28 GTi-R, GT2869R, GT2860RS, GT2860RSR, GT2871R.

Air intake
Any (standard airbox, any mesh or cone, straight induction etc).

Exhaust
Any is fine. Please specify if you have a cat or not.

ECU
Any is fine, Gtec 1, Gtec 2, Novitec, mapped etc.

Any data from cars with headwork, forged bits, cams etc is not required thankyou \:\)

I want to see what sort of power curves people are getting from the midrange modded coops (250-350bhp). The idea is to make a dyno graph to show power and torque through the gears with an average of all the data from cars running these mods. This will allow me (and anyone else who is as bored as me) to see what sort of difference each of the turbos will make at this level of tune \:\)

Seems to me that 2.75" downpipe cars get about 20lb/ft higher peak torque than they would with a 3" downpipe, still need more data yet though I guess....

I have already done this ages ago I just didn't get round to finishing it off \:D

Its messy and needs updating but you get the drift. All mods are nearly the same and the same dyno was used. I want to add 2871R 0.86 & GT3071R.

@ Flea post up your PT graph & i'll use matty's GT30R graph to finish it off

Jason,

Are you sure that you are comparing like with like? Are they all WHEEL BHP or ENGINE BHP? I may be wrong, but I think you have mixed some wheel figures with some engine figures thus giving an invalid comparison.

It might help if you put the user names against the graphs so that we could check the various mods etc too.

my spec is in the 'hall of fame' section in tuning.

Turbo is a GT2560r / Gt28r, 3 inch downpipe and headwork at 1.3 bar:

Here you go
gforce dyno
This was back in the day...
340BHP, 320lbs/ft. You'll observe that they backed off at 6500rpm even though the power was still climbing....

Uprated Evo 6 FMIC
Turbo was a GT30/25 hybrid with T04S 0.70 A/R compressor cover, GT30 compressor wheel and GT25 turbine wheel running 1.1 bar boost at peak power a bit more at peak torque
The ORIGINAL SIP, Blitz SUS C1 mesh cone
Unichip
Aquamist for cooling only (no extra advance)
Crap headwork (thanks to Scholar ) that caused at least -20BHP and a lot of extra lag so you can count as without it. \:\)

Thanks for the great response peeps, it's just a shame i can't view these links at work. I have an idea, just post me a the link to your dyno graph on www.torquestats.com/modified , I can view them there for some reason

I have not mixed up anything they are Engine BHP figures because Garette rate thier turbos to engine BHP. All cars have a very simlar spec in fact it is pretty accurate. All cars were mapped on Dastek dynos as mixing dynos is another problem.

Gonna add the GT30R from matty when i get time and would really like Flea to upload his PT graph and Nigels new graph as the blue curve was nigels old graph before the 2.2Bar \:D

And Dastek Dyno's don't give 'pub' figures, they're extremely accurate. \:\)

Quick update just added matty’s 400BHP data as the previous 370bhp didn’t look good enough, still would expect more from this turbo \:D What A/R is the exhaust on the GT30?

I have attached another preview of all turbos on a graph (looks like kids spaghetti). I really want Flea’s GT2871R 0.86 PT data to finish this off. ;\)

Once I have that I can tart it up and do some tweeks, add in some macros to make a really good spread sheet for everyone to benefit from. People can use this real data to get a rough idea of how their power curve will be without have to go through loads of dyno data.

Congratulations to the GT28R. 330 hp! That's a big power for the "little" turbo of the GT series ;\)
