I decided I needed an unhealthy obsession, so I bought my first coupe. What a car. Looks great and sounds great and goes like stink. Even the wife likes it. And I bought it via this forum. Quality. If I can keep the paint like that, and it doesn't break too much, I will be a happy man. I think this is where you tell me to go and check the oil.

What have you done? 1) Deprived yourself of ever having such a thing as spare cash for the next few decades 2) Set yourself up for the most amazing bout of car paranoia you will ever experience i.e. "what was that noise?" or "Is that smoke coming from the back of my car?" 3) Become your local Coupe specialist's new best friend. 4) Set yourself up for much mickey taking from people who know fccuk all about cars "Why did you buy a FIAT??" 5) Become the new race target for all your local barry boys who will pull up alongside you everytime you stop at lights in their corsa / subaru / saxo / klingon battlecruiser and try to goad you into racing 6) Developed an unhealthy obsession with the Fiat Coupe Forum and find yourself having to check it every 5 minutes or posting endless threads about things you might expect to hear in a nursery school playground e.g. "who can roll their face across the keyboard and be the first to spell a proper word?" or "how heavy is your head?"  and lastly - you've bought an iconic, sexy, classy and punchy car which will give you heartbreak and joy for as long as you own it (in possibly one of the bestest colours available) so enjoy it and look after her. Welcome to the forum - now go and check you oil

I bought my first coupe a couple of weeks ago, haven't driven it much and I'm not driving it at the minute, but already the paranoia has got to me.

Congrats! Rare colour in Malaysia. Most of them here are in moon grey and pearl white. Btw, Mrs_LickyL is spot on! It was easy agreeing to all the points....

Well thank you all. Mrs_LickyL just confirmed what I already suspected. I've always been a terrible one for 'whats that noise' anyway. Yesterday I was getting all worked up and then realised that a bloke in a nearby garden was cutting his hedge with a petrol trimmer....
Bought it from jas_racing - lovely water beading, you see.
