On Saturday I finally took off a door car to fit my Infinity components. Unfortunately I got a little scared and bottled out of it. I have however drilled the tweeter covers and they fit nicely.

So, can anyone recommend a place in Leeds that might fit them for me? I feel paying for someone to do a neat job will be better than me making a mess of it.

Also what ball park figure might I expect to pay?

Don't be a pussy, it's really easy and you were half way there with the door cards off. The how to section or FAQ makes it a loads easier and the satisfaction of fitting it out weighs the risk.

When you open the door you will see a plastic channel, pull back the carpet of anything in line with that channel. Then its just a case of pushing your speaker cable down that channel into the door. One end goes to the speaker and the other end (in the car). The hardest part was fitting the new tweeter, try and use some strong glue to fix to the orgional tweeter cover (this just lifts off).
Have you found the how to bit?

Already drilled and installed the tweeters on some spare covers.
Im quite chuffed with myself actually.

I definatley dont remember seeing a channel. I saw lots of grey foam that was limiting mt access to the black rubber hose with all the cabling in. Behind the door card there were very few holes for access.

Couldnt find the guide, any chance of a link?

You do not need to even remove the cards laugh

Just remove the speaker grille. Remove the old speakers and then you can see where the Fiat speaker wire goes. Run some new cable and feed trough the rubber door grommit (you can unplug this from both the door and the shell area to see the wire passes through. Then peal back the carpet (see the Barnacle widget how to guide) and you can see inside the shell where the cable emerges.
