Did you notice how it didn't do it when he was parking up, yet still using his clutch?
Mine makes a very similar noise; I think it's just a loose air filter box, which moves upon the car jerking forwards when coming off the accelerator quickly. I haven't had chance to tighten it up yet, but I'll confirm when I do.

I think you will find the 20vt is tuned to some extent,.. Not sure to what though,.. Spins up in first few gears with ease...

It may well be "tuned to some extent", I don't know - but that makes no excuse for the sound when you come off the throttle quickly. It's just similar to the noise of mine with a loose air filter box.

Don't know about removing the DV altogether either.

My coop is 'standard' as far as I know, so everything should sound 'standard'.

I'll tighten my box soon and relay the outcome. \:\)
