symon

Your coupe is a 16v mate. You don't have any problems with clearance, hence the reason I've only been listing for 20VT's

We've had so many new members ask about wheels for the Coupe 20VT because of the Brembo clearance. Thats why I decided to start this thread

Sorry, I didn't see the bit about this thread being for the 20 valvers... Still much of the wheel fitment is the same, like PCD.

Never taken 'em off...yet...

I have 17” Tsw reflex pcd 4x98 with no spacers.
It’s a very tight fit and they probably cloud do with a 5mm spacer on there.

Ok just measured the clearance on the rims and its 2.5mm.
I have had them on there for over a year now with no probs.

ok so i under stand the pcd but what is the offset is that the distance from the hub to the out side of wheel plus what is the minimum off set. plus ive noticed most alloys are 100 pcd so whats the big problem with wobblys and what are the effects

What is the offset... Hmmmm ask Cosmograph

Wobbly Bolts.... I was told by Rog from Powerfiat not to fit spacers or wobbly bolts as in the past their has been accidents with them. I think Carlt had a crashed Coupe were a wheel came off
However a large number of members do use wobbly bolts and
spacers with no problems. Your choice

Does anyone have any info on these wheels

Clicky 1

Clicky 2

I think they look fantastic on thew coupe.

Looked at a few porche replica wheels but they all seem a little too wide, does anyone know of a narrow version of a prche replica wheel in an 18" ?

H&R do a 4x98 to 5x130 hub convertor.

I have some Porsche Cup 2 wheels on my old school VW Super Beetle cabrio (also has Porsche 944 brakes!!)

All Porsche 911/944/968 front wheels will be the right offset more or less - they are ET53 or ET55 as standard and the usual convertors are 25mm AFAIK.

I'm running a set of Postert 17x8". Can't find their site now though?

http://sfk.ibk.se/depa/showfile.php?carpic_no=833&type=picture
http://sfk.ibk.se/depa/showfile.php?carpic_no=525&type=picture

They are 4x98mm but need 8mm spacers.

You can get the Porsche carrera Cup III alloy(the ones you're looking at) replicas in 5x100 - you sometimes see them on golfs and new shape beetles. Not a very good replica though. 5x100 still means you'd need the Alfa hub conversion which is not cheap either.

I think Eibach also do adapters I believe. You can sometimes pick up the adapters from german ebay for a lot less as well.

The adapters bolt into the hub, and then the wheel bolts into the adapter so they are reasonably safe.

An update on the Porsche wheels, Elite can supply the spacers for £250 for the 4, genuine Porsche wheels in a 7.5 x 18" for £130 each and Toyo tyres.

The whole package comes in at £1320 !

I just need to make sure these will fit, I cant see why not, they are the correct offset and they are designed to go on big caliper porsches, anyone know of any reason why they wont fit ?
