While doing some general coop maintenance i noticed the inner skin of the bonnet is rusty near where the slashes are and it wont be long before this comes through to the top and i think its realistically impossible to have a body shop work on it as the top section would have to be seperated.

I am considering a new bonnet (not sure where to get one though!) but wondered what people who HAVE had Mariusz bonnet thought of it and does it suppy a good fit and the paint sit on it well? (i have been told that fibre glass can leave a rippled effect??? I have Mariusz LE side skirts and they are good but the area is much smaller than a bonnet)

Feel free to Pm/or post here me with pictures and honest opinions, i feel with the rarity of new bonnets and second hand ones slowly feeling the effects of time many people would like to know this?

Thanks Tom

i had fibreglass skirts, from a different source bought about 5 years back and they were not dead smooth in finish lumpy and the paint also cracked in places. They also wore to the fibreglass very quickly behind the front wheels. The front lips fared better although they were easily chipped.

There is now no problem on supply of brand new bonnets, I recently obtained one and it took about 4 days, IIRC they are £550 from Fiat,

Ok, i am interested in a carbon bonnet but it seems a no-go as no one supplies these and not enough people are interested in a group buy even though it would be a great upgrade giving performance/handling gains for no loss of reliability.

You have PM!

Are all the coupes panels made from fibreglass out of the factory? Someone once told me they were but i didnt believe them, surely its just metal?
