Just thought i'd share my delight at the fact the Coupe is FINALLY back on the road!

It 1st failed it's MOT way back in March, a mixture of parts being hard to come by - lack of time and laziness meant the car was declared sorn and insurance wasn't renewed.

After a trip to Joe's (countrycruising) and having Walkers chase me down some hard to find bits from Italy the car finally passed its MOT yesterday, has been insured today and will be taxed by tomorrow.

Just need to drive it now and find out what has stopped working/dropped off in the last few months, I can't wait!

Just thought I'd share my excitement with everyone.

Cheers
James

Congrats on being back on the road!

Question: why not just tax it online?

Doubt the online tax thingmajiggy will update it's records that quickly.. \:P

And perhaps he wants the tax disc immediately rather than wait for Postman Pat ;\)

Edited to add: How do you know it's not going to be taxed online?

Ex 20VT - now something far more sensible'ish... smile

The DVLA records update *very* quickly, although admittedly the delay can be at the insurers end.....

Exactly - I've tried once, I'll try again this evening - I was told it might take up to 24hrs for the database to be updated, though reading Stans post I might have another sneaky go in an hour ;\)
