As many of you North Wales bunch know, I have managed to wangle a few entry forms for Prestatyn's annual classic car show For those that don't know what it's about, it's probably Prestatyn's biggest Summer event, A couple of hundred or so varied cars are on show, ranging from pre-war to Supercars and everything in-between.

Where does the coupe fit in? well any "unusual" or "interesting" car is allowed to enter the show, and as the coupe is both, We are permitted to enter Your coupe will be on show to the general public (hundreds if not thousands will see your pride and joy) and it promises to be a great day out (hope the weathers clement then )


From the form:

"Prestatyn classic car show - sponsored by prestatyn town council. 29th May 2006, the town square, prestatyn (bank holiday monday) Entrants will have the choice of going straight to the static display in prestatyn or taking part in a 20 mile (approx) vintage/classic run to the event. classes 1,2,3,4 and 5 must be pre 1975, however interesting vehicles of all ages are welcome. Further details in the final instructions.

THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR PARTICIPATING IN THIS EVENT. THERE WILL ALSO BE A COMPLEMENTARY LUNCH FOR TWO FOR EACH CAR ENTERED IN THE SHOW, WHO'S ENTRY IS RECEIVED BEFORE 30th APRIL 2006"

I *think* we are to turn up at about 10 ish but I'll confirm that. The security guard at my workplace helps organise the event so I have a great source.

Nice one Pinin - as long as it doesn't clash with any football (world cup) I will be there!

Beleive it starts in June Marcus if not you can get a TV screen and Telly receiver for cheap on fleabay, and all the prestatyn lady chavs will be swooning over you as you "pimp your ride"

Don't put yourself in any of the classes. Just leave that blank. And you can send the form direct to the address on the form

If my coupe is broken because of what I think it is, it won't be back on the road for the show However I will still be there etc. And let's face it we have enough "sprinters" attending anyway

But before you all go home you all have to drive to mine and look at my poorly coupe with it's new bumper to make me feel better

The surprise picture of your Will was an added bonus, started my day with a smile. I've put Willy in a frame on my workstation. Though the missus is back home tonight so he'll probably go in the bin then

Glad you liked the pic C2D! It's become a bit of a trademark now to send a picture of willy chin with whatever I'm sending out.
On that particular picture, I had been looking for william for about three hours and was getting worried. I did a quick check down the (tiny) space between my bed and the wall, and there was a happy looking chin, securely wedged between the two

The little b*gger has found a way under the floorboards and I can hear him eating wood/electrical cables etc directly underfoot

He's back now! (where's the "phew" smilie when you need one) I managed to bait him out with a raisin then blocked off his escape route. I gave him a good b*llocking afterwards adn I think he knew he was a bad chin.
