Rang around the two closest Fiat garages today for a new clutch...........£900

Oh but that does include the VAT he told me,great book it in then lol.
I just cannot get my head around that price!!! Problem here in Pembrokeshire is the fact Im about 4 hour drive from motormech etc!! So does anyone know any decent independant garages who could fit a clutch if I supplied it within a 2 hr radius of me?? Swansea/Carmarthen/Cardiff??

For another 2 hours drive I'd take it to Paul at Motormech to be honest..!

It's worth the extra drive to know that the job's been done right and your car is in good hands. And you'll still save money!
That's assuming your clutch has enough life left to get you there...
Fwiw, I took mine down to Motormech from Livingston Scotland, having only just got back from PowerFiat and Perfect Touch - they're even further away!

I gota be honest, me thinks brum is looking fave!! £400 all in,and VERY trust worthy/recommended. How long a job is the clutch roughly?

I got mine trailered from Aberdeen to Motormech

It takes about 6 hours just had mine done by Paul top bloke

if you are in north london ,herts or essex go see the little italien wizard Salvo,he works at candy motors,Hoddesdon.He is the man.Did my cambelt for 450 in two evenings.

I think ah4fuxake has had a cambelt done by matt in seawall and can recommend him as he is pretty decent with a major love affair for these cars as demonstrated by the fact he owns 3

my mechanic done my clutch, cambelt, fitted new radiator, water pump, thermostat and rear wheel bearings for £500.....fiat are robbing b******s....i proced a frickin wiper arm today...60 quid plus vat!!!

£500 for that lot seems an absolute bargain!
