I just rebuilt my engine in 2.0 16v coupe - it will produce power between 210-230bhp. I have one problem.I don´t know what injectors are there in stock specification.I´m afraid that stock injectors are small for this power.I think that I must use injectors from 16VT or 20VT engine.Can I use it? Will there some problem with electrical wiring if I use injectors from 16VT /20VT engine?

With that spec i would say you will be running 180 - 200bhp. 16vt injectors will fit no problems and not have to worry electrical wiring, just plug and play.

20vt injectors are 330cc @ 3 bar
16vt injectors are 384cc @ 3 bar

With this spec. and with very good programme in ECU it could be running at 230bhp - its say one of the best engine tuners in czech republic (he building engines over 20 years , now he have there 7 engines from subaru impreza , and some next engines from masterchip of czech republic and europe in rallye, autocross and rallyecross.. so when he say that the engine could produce 200bhp, it will produce slightly more power - it´s say one of his customer)

hello honza, i would be very impressed if the engine produced that power on the standard inlet set up, please click on the link in my signature (racing tipo below) to see my 16v. I know this engine esp the head can beat opel c20xe no problem for flow and these produce 220-230 no bother but on throttle bodies, very interested to hear your results.

Im using integrale single pintle evo 1 injectors. It was recomended by the ecu mappers that the 16vt 4 spray pattern would be too wide for the further out board position on the manifold on the normal 16v.

I have tipo too , but only 2.0 8v for daily use.

I´m very interested for results of my engine too <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> , when I have a dyno results I will show it here on forum.You say that it will produce 220-230bhp no bother with throttle bodies look like this for S2000?

If I understand you , there is a diferent betwen 16VT and integrale evo 1 injectors?Is it a big problem, or I need not worry with use 16VT injectors.In czech coul´d be problem with buying integrale injectors.16VT injectors I get with no problems.

Hi yes they are what I would call throttle bodies, if you dont produce the power you want then this would be the key to getting more. If you DO get the 220 then that makes me happy as it shows the potential of the single throttle set up.

Yes you can compare the tipo injectors with the 16vt if you have both. You will see the tipo has one spray hole and the 16vt 4 spray hole. I hope you can read the next part ok; a company that tested my injectors before putting them on advised me about a problem they had seen on opel engines the C20XE and the C20LET (turbo). Very similar to the fiat the normal aspiration engine the C20XE has single spray hole (pintle) injectors while the C20LET (like fiat 16vt) has 4 spray injectors. They had an engine to map (program) a C20XE running the turbo 4 spray injectors they said it was dissapointing on the power results, and pointed to the fuel may not be mixing well, returning to the single spray (except larger than standard) they found the torque and power increased by a noticable amount about 10hp. Like the fiat engine the opel engine has slightly ifferent inlet manifolds. But there is no way of real comparisons without the 2 types of injectors. I had the option for either integrale or 16vt injectors so I took their advice and went for the single pintle version.

lighter (-30grams) gudgeon-pin Wiseco (i hope that I named it right..).

After today´s morning consultation We were decided for use standart 16v NA injectors with adjustable fuel pressure regulator.I read the next part with some small problems, but I understand it.
I take some photos of valves and head and I upload it on my web pages

I personally think those injectors wont be good enough for the power your hoping for. You would be better off with 16vt / integrale injectors as these are designed to cope with 220bhp+ where as the NA injectors are designed to cope with 150bhp

Hello after long time

today I first started my rebuilted engine:).
Engine is runnig very good <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />with std. 16v chip , next week we will re-map ECU,and went to dyno... with re-mapped ecu it will be brutal <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

injectors are standart 16v , but fuel pressure is set at 4bar and I put better fuel pump in to car...if will some problem with injectors i will change it , it isn´t problem for me
