The market comes and goes in waves, if I'd listed my Coupe a month earlier it would have sold right away. In fact, I should have accepted an offer I got for it back then In another couple of months things will swing back that way again.

The car Market has never been this bad, not even in the last recession of the early 90's (according to Glass's guide) did the market go as low as it is now and we are not at the bottom yet. We truly are living through unique times and if you've got a little bit of dough saved up, you'd be mad not to get that car you've been after, in the next year or so. Chances are it will probably not even depreciate that much during 2010 onwards and may even rebound slightly if your lucky.

sold the Alfa for what I asked a couple of weeks ago, was only advertised for 2 weeks on here and AO Had to go back to 'Veloces' today and they certainly didn't have the same stock as 2 weeks ago. I think people are being cautious, but people still need/want things...just you can't have it on credit at the mo!

Did you see what one of the American car manufacturers was advertising over the past couple of weeks? Can't remember who it was now - Chevvy or the like - for cars being sold in the UK...
Buy one, get one free! On a car. Costing about £20k... Surreal. I don't think I've ever met one person who has wanted two identical cars for a start (Coupes don't count), but it must be bad if some manufacturers are willing to give a brand new car away.
Madness. Then again, still worth advertising if you need to sell - all you need is for one person to see how well you've looked after your car and they may well buy it.
