Is it possible that our Coupes are addictive? I bought another one today with no plans to get rid of the one i already have. I feel like I've been on a high all day. I've had a bit of a harsh run with the one ive got all sorts of things going wrong...sorting them one by one, but i cant help but love her. To feed my Coop habit ive gone into a bit to much debt...but i just cant help myself.
Guess i just want to know that im not the only one that has a bulging credit card aswell as a huge smile. And should our addiction be celebrated...or like a lot of the people around me...should it be worried about?

I just replaced my old Series with a new(ish) 3 series coupe and I thought humm- can I still justify the Coop - took the Coop out again and yes I can - new cars esp
Beemers have no soul - but it is a good car (as it goes) but its not the same - Coop is best car I have ever owned - and no Government tax will take it away ever!
Chrs.

i have had 3, and im after another I tell you there is no lower than being sat at the side of a road on a burning hot sweet Sunday afternoon in sweet sunny wales. with no traffic, and sweeping sticky hot roads with a gental cost breeze coming in though the windows.........waiting for the recovery people to come and pick you up because you coupe desided to crap its fuel tank on to the road (broken straps) and there is no better high then starting it up, pulling out of your driveway, and just driving for the shearer sake of it

If I could afford it, I would get a 16VT to go along with my 20VT. And an Alfa GTV V6

with a genital cost breeze coming in though the windows Sounds nasty Coupes really are addictive - I bought mine in 2001 intending to only keep it for two years max, and here I am nearly eight years later, paying for another cambelt change in two weeks, at which point all the major jobs for the next four or so years will have been done....
It is hard to understand how a cemetery can raise burial rates and blame it on the cost of living

I agree, I'm looking at a second one at the moment, can't decide between a 20V and a 20VT, my heart says VT, my wallet says 20V. However, I still want a yellow 16VT to go with my red one! They are all so cheap at the moment too! Life's hard! Gareth

If I could afford it, I would get a 16VT to go along with my 20VT. And an Alfa GTV V6 ....and a Integrale, and a Barchetta to complete the set. That would be my ideal garage this side of the lottery . Baz

totally and utterly addictive - i've had mine well over 3 years now and not a day goes by without me thinking how great she is. april will bring some big bills in anticipation of her "birthday" in may, ie belts, total suspension renewal, discs and brakes - so then she'll be pretty much sorted for the coming years, although by then if suba's car is still available i'll be sorely tempted for a swap.... i love em!!

Gotta agree, my first coupe - a 2000 X plus - was pretty perfect - needed little doing to it - but my lastest - a 1998 LE - is not as sorted - but im getting there now, I have a compelling urge to get her back to her best, i'm always buying bits & bobs, spent around 3k since Jan alone

Damn it, this is not the thread to read when your car is in the garage and you're stuck with a Punto S courtesy car
