I take it you mean a cone filter and not a panel filter?

If a cone filter, then yes you need to buy a length of Induction hose. As far as I remember you need to get a 3" diameter induction pipe. I think it needs to have a slight bend (elbow) too. I cant remember the length as I bought mine about 2 years ago and no longer have my coop.

Heres a pic

If you have a SIP you only have to buy a 3" hose, about 10 cm long.

I cant remember which shop it was but I got it in a group buy which Pinin Prestatyn arranged on these forus a couple of years ago. You would be better off PMing Pinin to see if he remembers which shop it was.

I know a place in Sweden that sells 3" hose, 4-layers of silicone, 45 degrees for 170 SEK (circa £14).

Just take you car for a good drive on Shk Zayed Rd and your ECU will automatically adjust the settings to the new air filter \:\)

Here are pics of the apexi cone with the samco hose.

If your unlucky with K&N your Airflow Meter can screw up. With Apexi you’ll have no worries. \:\)

Just go to Al Gandi and get the car diagnosed for the error code. Given the age and kms the car has done it would do no harm in changing both, MAF & Oxygen Sensor. You will benefit. \:\)
