Took a couple of pictures at work the other night, the sun was just going down but it brought out the colour of the car quite nicely I think.

Picture 1

Picture 2

Not the best photography but it was with my phone, just thought the colour looked good

Here's mine:

http://www.apqa74.dsl.pipex.com/FC/coupe1.jpg

It doesn't look too bad in this photo, but the front bumper does need a respray. One of the lips has a large crack in the paint and the bottom of the bumper looks like it's seen a few steep multi-storey carparks.

You can tell waht I did on my day off:

I couldn't wokr out how to remove the lock barrel from the lever, any tips as I'd really like to have the same finish all over the cap.

There's a small slidey spring at the base of the barrel, you just use a small screwdriver to prise it out and the barrel will come out.
Just remove two screws to remove the lever from the cap.
Nice looking coupe by the way.

Thanks, I'll give that a go on the weekend.

The car's got a few cosmetic things that need sorting but on the whole it's in good condition. Both bumpers need respraying, the skirts could probably do with a respray too. I just need to find a good local bodyshop. If anyone's got recommendations (North London) please let me know.

The door handles are rusting but I've got replacements ready to fit this weekend.

Just rubbed down with wet&dry, then polished with T-Cut metal polish, and then waxed with Poorboys Natty Paste Wax.
