Well i need a bit of help setting up my headunit/sub/amplifier if anyone has any ideas

Ive got myself a Phoenix Gold amplifier and sub with a Pioneer headunit but the amp and HU have got so many controls on them i dont know what i need to be doing!!

Basically on the Amp side i have a sensitivity control going from -4 to +4 volts. A switch with the options LP/HP/BP (low pass/high pass/bypass im guessing) and another dial control for Bass in Hz.

The headunit will give me plenty of options with things primarily the option to switch on the sub and then im left with things like FIE settings and different frequencys i can increase/decrease.

Im looking to get a definate punchy bass sound from the sub whilst leaving my factory speakers to deal with most of the treble.

Anyone any ideas?
