I'm considering a change of wheels. Not decided yet, but I feel that if I change I might as well get something reasonably light weight rather than made of lead. I'm not sold on the team dynamics ones.

So here's a few (terrible) photoshop images that I've pulled together:
One
two
three
four
five

So, which wheels does anybody prefer? I want to see what the results are so that I can then pay absolutely no regard to them what-so-ever and go with what I think anyway. \:D

agreed no.1
but have you tried Oz ultraleggra or however you spell it:)
light weight and gorgeous wheels.
the Azez's are sweet and suit the coop a lot, but....
are becoming a common wheel for the Coop.
Go for something different.

Also i think the photo mock up looks very good.

Def go for No.3! \:#
What are they?

Real Mean and very purposful looking on your coop!
Quite individual too IMHO

The Azev's as always look awesome on the coupe however as magicsy said they are becoming a common choice.

Out of the options No#1 but as mentioned they are very common alloys for coops now. Might be worth going for something a little different.

Im still not convinced with coloured alloys. Apart from my old smoked chromed.

I really like the novtech ones in pic 4, but actually seeing them on the coupe makes me think that our cars look better with more simple design wheels...

Number two!! What are they btw? I'm a big fan of some contrast between car and wheel colour and no 2 stand out the most.

If you want light weight then cross No1 off your list, the Azevs are carved from a solid ingot of pig iron !

Speedline do a nice flow formed very light 18" alloy.

OZ Ultraleggra look stunning.

Drift alloys look pretty special.

I looked at Rota wheels already and they have an extremely limited choice in 4 x 98 pcd (dont want wobbly bolts). I'd have had the Formula ones if it was an option.

I could always get some speedline magnesium wheels but at £470 a corner it'd be a tad expensive. \:D Any knowledge of the aluminium ones, fitment and weight?

Not overly keen on the OZ and they're pricy too.

I really like those Drift alloys, they were nice Jimbo. Do they come in 4x98 pcd or are they 4x100. mattB i thought 3 and 5 were strangely quite nice.

I'm surprised no-one has commented on the legendary photoshop that is image one. \:D ;\)

Here's what OZ Ultraleggara's would look like (roughly). But they're not a direct fit and they're too much $$$, although they are seriously light weight. So that's them out the window, even before we get to the point that I say I dont like the look of them that much.

http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f312/bryce_matthew/Wheels/Ultraleggaras.jpg

Drift wheels that Jimbo linked to are actually made by Rota, although you do get Drift wheels that are made by Dare. They're quite nice too, but again with the fitment issues.

Maybe I should just get a set of standard alloys...

Matt, Just buy a 4x100 wheel and get it re-drilled to 4x98, thats what Lenso did to my wheels. Its such a small amount of metal (1mm) from the inside corner of each bolt hole that you dont even see it. no need to worry about wobble bolts either \:\)

I like the Azevs on your black Coupe.

Think number 3 would look stunning on a Sprinter though. Do you have the details? Does number 5 come in a 4 bolt pattern?

Cheers

Dave

The Azev wheels look shite, really ruin the look of your car.

Get rid of them ASAP.
