I am looking for some news discs and pads for my moded 20VT.
I am actually using some OMP road & sport discs and pads which are some real crap ! I have a worse braking than the original braking. My discs have not appraciated the track sessions at Spa francorchamps last year driving biglaugh So they are veiled now.

In France, we have not found the good products for our coop. Many people have tried a lot of disc brands. The results are always the same.

And I read the DBA & Pagid group buy topic. It seems interesting, that's why i am writing this topic.
I am looking for some informations / opinion about DBA as it is unknows here.

Can you tell me more ?
Is it recommend for track only ? or street use too ?

Best regards

Jeremy

DBA was unknown in the UK until recently, but they have proven to be of very high quality

For some reason, I have gained a bit of a reputation as a brake-killer, so I made it my job to find some decent brakes for the Coupe. I tried many different makes and the ONLY discs that I have ever worn out have been DBA (all the rest get warped or cracked)

if you want to know more about them, go to www.dba.com.au

Nigel : Oh ok ! lol

So, braking when discs are cold, work perfectly !

i saw your last group buy. Do you think it is still possible to get the same prices for the discs ?

Cold performance is acceptable - its not brilliant, but its definitely as good as standard. However, the performance when hot is just staggering.

Its unlikely that prices will be the same, as the £ is becoming very weak against most other currencies

I'll email Paul Wilkinson to ask for a new set of prices

Some updates on prices would be good actually, was going to buy a set a long time ago, then decided to sell my standard coop and buy a highly modded one, which im very happy with, except the brakes, so poss interested in the very near future on some DBA/Pagid.

What about brake squeel with this set up?

That is something I put up with for 18-20 months on my old coop and it nearly killed me.
Om my new coop which ive had for about 2 months, no brake squeel and its been an absolute pleasure!
