My BMW is debadged - which the dealership thought was strange - but everyone thinks I'm a tosspot already, because I'm behind the wheel of a 3-series. I'm not going to add to it by advertising what engine I have.

Most of the Germans have it as a no-cost option.

I suspect that most of the debadged ones are also bottom of the range ones.

My Monaro is de-badged, for two reasons:

1. There was a spate reported of chavs nicking VXR badges for their Novas, and not removing them very nicely, i.e. levering them off with a screwdriver, and I didn't want my bootlid trashed.

2. Just about everyone in the world stares at it and wonders what it is and I find that highly amusing when they still don't find the answer!

But it's badged out of the factory - although the front Vauxhall badge is a hideous stick-on which was clearly never designed for the actual car on which it resides. Was the first to go.

The Batmobile? K.I.T.T? lol

I think having no model name, as on my Coupe, really suits it. Not having the Fiat badge (I want to take it off mine) is even better! Not that I'm ashamed of the name or anything- it just makes it more mysterious.
