are these kits you can buy any good? i was thinking of having a go myself

No. Just buy the painte and some petrol proof laquer.

All said it is hard work, very time consuming and to do a proper job you need to take the tyres off. I saved up and got them re-furbed and powder coated for about £120 and they look like new.

I'd just buy some filler, some fine emery cloth, some spray paint and laquer and do a good job on them.

These little kits are never that good, tried a dash repair kit on a friends car once, it was shockingly bad. Basically a bit of superglue, some black paint and a dash patern print... all for £15 \:o Could have bought it all for a fiver.
