hmmm, i dont know much north of the m4, or east of the m5 for that matter
anyway to the point,
i have a number for a guy who transports cars and stuff (no not jason whats his face) but it may be quite expensive, as obviosly the further he has to go away from his base (read home) before he's even collected the car then it costs more (obviously)
there are lots of these sorts of people on ebay however, just search under car transporter and go from there.

tbh if it doesnt have to be there for couple of days ring AA and sign up for there Relay package about £80 for a year Covers you not the car!! so any car can break down in your presence and get it towed for free. but anyway do that wait over 24 hours then get a friend to tow you couple of miles from your house and ring them for recovery saying youve just broken down. they will take the car to where ever you want that way it only cost you £80 and your covered for the next year on any car you drive. Just an idea as transporter from stafford to solo italia will be at least £200 at the cheapest id say as the ebay ones for 90p amile are bit of a con cos they will charge you there whole route not just to the destination. thats what id do cheeky but cheap. http://www.theaa.com/breakdown-cover/uk-breakdown-cover.do?promcode=1037&source=GoogleProductBrand

Was going to suggest asking solo italia who they might use, but i'd snap carlt up on his offer if I were you. Make sure you sit in the cab and pick his brains. With nothing too sharp though

Depending on the policy they will take the car to a gargage of your choice.

Is there a reason its going to Solo Italia? Surely Motormech would be a far better bet? yes its still under warrantee and they did the engine re-build prior to me purchasing it

If I had paid a premium for a car because it was from a specialist then I'd expect them to transport it in the event of any breakdown during the warrenty period. You should check the t&c to see if it is included.

in that case, the cost shouldn't be an issue, as surely they will be paying for it (assuming its the fault of their work or materials, not something you've done to it) +1
