I am getting a JVC DAB radio fitted tomorrow from

The best you budget can afford and it does depend on if you are planning to use an amp at a later date. A good set of components and some sound deadening make a world or difference.

Not planning on a trunk full of electrical gubbins soon so I reckon I will simply do as you say and get some quality speakers which fit like for like and maybe retrofit some sound deadening a bit later in the year.

On my way to the shop now....hoping Mrs Repo doesnt notice any changes...

Excellent service from MCA. JVC unit seems very good and decided not to upgrade speakers at the moment: to be honest the stock ones sound fine to me.

Limited spending to 200 sovs: extraordinary self restraint.
