Here are before and after pics of my first beloved yellow coupe, still have a soft spot for em, love the yellow uns :O( :O(. It got written off after being hit by a drunk driver from the front side, if it hadnt been for the coupes huge bonnet, id have lost my legs or been killed! She even had a lil kid in the front with no seatbelt on. Don't think i've ever been so gutted in my life. On a plus note, porkypaul got the leather seats and alloys off it at a vehicle breakers so at least it went to some good use.

Such a horrible way for the Coupe to go. How fast did the idiot hit you?

Id say about 40, 50 mph I was so shaky afterwards and suffered from whiplash. I was going around a roundabout indicating to leave the roundabout and she came speeding from my left and failed to stop in time, she was arrested and her horrbile little modified fiesta was written off too, my bonnet saved me, im so thankful i was in the coupe, how can you miss a bright yellow coupe!!? I was concerned about the kid too but amazing he only suffered from a mild head injury from smacking into the dashboard. There was another coupe in mansfields which was completely burnt through, the chap was burnt alive i was told inside it :s, on a positive note i have another one and love it just as much lol.

them last 3 should come with a warning "NSFCO" not safe for coupe owners!

gutting mate, i dont think the fiat coupe came in a bad colour, i would happily have any color, but yellow, red and silver are top of my list, bliz blue is also a fav after last week

I agree, they look good in any colour but in yellow i think they look the most exotic.

I did hear (perhaps a rumour) that firemen/women were converting their cars back to 4 star due to the increased chances of fire while using unleaded.

Cheers lads It was on its original colour, i had it checked over by a bodyshop when i had a dent sorted on it, just think it was regularly waxed and i swear the owner before had ocd lol, his house was abs immaculate too. Im not sure mario, i love the speed red, think it looks fantastic but the broom yellow with colour coded sills unfaded looks really espec when the suns out, only prob is its a bit in yer face lol

Glad everyone was ok, sad seeing such a clean coop like that. Looking at the damage im not sure your legs were in any danger, seen far worse and people walk away but luck is always a factor I suppose.

Yeah as paul says im in trentham, near trentham gardens . Yeah i suppose you're right mario, i might get a yellow one next in 20vt guise, we shall see :O) maybe even a black one who knows, love mine as it is atm. I did cry but sssshhh I love these cars and to have one written off by a ford fiesta and a drunk chavvy driver is even more gutting. ah well, life goes on. Sorry mate, I was going to get down but I would have been in my 19 as I took the coupe off the road for the winter, she wont be out til March .

I will try and get to some though mate.
