I bought my coupe with with red lowering springs fitted.Is there any way of telling the make of them before i fit Biltseins just incase they're not upto the job.?.I dont know if theres much difference in quality between makes.

they *may* say the make printed somewhere onto the paint on the spring itslef, some do, others not, or the writing could be obstructed by dirt etc, and sometimes the paint can flake off as well.

when the car is jacked up, with wheel removed have a good look around, you might be lucky and be able to see, but i'd guess you'd most likely have to take the spring off to see.

I was just hoping to find out before I take it to Icebergs to get the shocks fitted.Ill just hope for a decent weekend to have a mooch about.
