Thinking seriously about selling/swapping the coupe, but what is the best avenue? Do I just sell and look for something else (private) or look for a swap??? Had her now for nearly two years, and I seem to be starting to neglect her a bit, washing, waxing etc. What else though can put a smile on ya face like the coupe can for £2500/£3000 ish?????

You won't find anything else with the looks and performance of the 20vt for under £3k (without even nuttier running costs), especially not if you have a yellow one \:# Maybe a motorbike, but then there are obvious risks and weather issues ;\)

Maybe i should just get her sorted with a gtec1 and either LE kit or coded sills/black wheels, then it will be like a new car lol

Keep it for the weekends. Then get a dirt cheap banger to run around in. Trust me, when you get back in the coop, you'll enjoy it a lot more!

MR2 Turbo? I haven't seen your Coupe, but if it is special, then I'd keep it.

r33gtst
scooby
evo 3
e36 me non evo
rover turbo

al for a start and to be fair the main problem is people do want to buy coops at all and they seam hard to sell but the best route would be to sell up and then move to something else

Don't sell your coupe,if you're bored just spend a little money and make it faster and handle better because you can't get a better car than a coupe (as long as its fast enough for you). I suspect you are getting bored of speed and not car. You are just getting use to speed like you do in any car.
Trust me make it 400bhp and then tell me you are bored of it!

just think about this before you act.
i can walk to shop around the corner from were i live, some times in that time i see 2,3 scoobeys and sometimes more by the time i get there and back.its the same with mr2's and a hole range of cars that you are thinking of selling your coupe for.iv never seen 2 coupes in the place in the space of 5-10 mins before[by chance, not including cruise and shows and places you would see loads of coupes]
iv seen the pics of yours and it looks mint!
trust me keep it,make it go faster stop faster and handle better.
then tell me your bored of it,let me no what you decide to do mate
plus its yellow,my favourite

I would advise getting a good uprated clutch in advance of any engine tuning, as you will soon destroy a standard one running significant power increases.

I thought very hard and really wanted to sell up, but unable to sell the coupe anywhere near my asing price. So decided to keep the coupe and spend a few more pounds and make her feel a whole lot better.

So glad i made the right choice.

Im amazed you could ever get bored of a bright yellow coupe :O) anytime you want to get rid of it, just imagine it not sitting outside proudly on your drive or receiving lots of smiles and thumbs up when you're out driving \:\)

The yellow ones are imo easily the most stunning/exotic of all the coupes, if you dont want it ill have it off you lol!

I agree with getting bored of the coupe, I myself have found I have no eagerness to drive it about like I used too. But I wonder if its just because of the crappy weather. I certainly don't enjoy driving it in the rain or whilst the roads are wet as coupe paranoia sets in and i'm petrified of loosing it or some idiot driving into me lol. I seem to remember it being so much more fun on a nice dry road!! Either way its not being driven now until the summer as it needs a new clutch, bought a Proton Persona on the weekend as a run about to work n back until I save up some money to do some work on the coop. Bring on the summer and nice dry roads!!!
