OK,thanks for that.I thought it may be lower because the side walls are so much stiffer.

These guys are racing on the track, not driving on the road It doesnt matter what the tread pattern is, or how hard/soft the tyre is, you still should run a tyre at the correct pressure for road use.

I've used these tyres on the road and track and you have to be very careful with them. They have very stiff sidewalls as standard so too much pressure and you'll be reducing the grip considerably. Given they are poor in standing water, you have to be all the more careful.

so lets say you used these tyres on the road for normal driving how long do you think they will last for and in the rain how bad are they are? Depends how you drive on the road! I remember a guy had 3000 miles out of them on the road in his elise. In standing water they are useless as I found out driving down the motorway to a trackday once. If it's just raining it depends on the car. Heavier the better I would say to get some heat into them.

The wear fast on road (expensive) but slow on track (great!). As soon as it rains they do suck. Good Year F1's are superior even on trackdays, in rain.

I use them for everyday (not on winter of course) and think they are the best, even on water they are quite decent, but not on load of standing water...
