millage,service history,check door seals as they are known to come lose[knock some money off]check how she runs is there smoke if so what couler?as soon as they fire her up look at temp gauge to see if they warmed it up befor you arrived,if so ask them and yourself why?
as for genral rattles a car this age its not uncommen.its the knocking noises you gotta worry about?
